It’s a Hilo treasure, a cultural oasis, bringing you together with authors and images of all times and places in that one-on-one intimacy that only books convey. You will find the owner very helpful–he’s been devoted to sharing books for years and is a walking catalog and history. It’s a big space with bookshelves around the perimeter and a large table area in the middle displaying a huge selection of fascinating books. You’ll think the owner was expecting you, because so many of the books are speaking to you.
Children’s Corner
The books are all in excellent condition and prices are very reasonable. If you’ve come with the keiki, there’s an area just for them.
